The Forged Golf Academy is our flagship instructional program — a comprehensive six-week curriculum designed to take students through every dimension of the game in a logical, progressive sequence. Powered by Trackman and PuttView throughout, the Academy delivers a level of instruction depth and data rigor that no single lesson or drop-in session can match.
Whether you are picking up a club for the first time or rebuilding your game with professional structure, the Academy gives you a clear path, measurable progress, and the habits that last.
The Six-Week Curriculum
Every student who completes the Academy receives a complimentary follow-up assessment session — a Trackman and PuttView benchmark review to measure progress against baseline numbers captured in Week 1.

Trackman and PuttView make the data visual and engaging for younger students. Parent observation sessions available.

With 18 years of experience as a PGA Professional, Josh’s career has taken him across the golf industry—from working with the Golf Channel to serving as a professional at four premier country clubs. Along the way, he has had the privilege of teaching golfers of all skill levels, from enthusiastic weekend players looking to break 90, to elite tour professionals competing on the world stage. His journey also includes owning and operating a successful golf academy for 10 years, spanning across both Florida and Illinois, which allowed him to hone a teaching philosophy rooted in measurable improvement and lasting results.
Josh was also a special education teacher for over 20 years which has shaped his thinking on training and education.
At Forged Golf Club, his goal is to bring that same elite-level instruction and passion to our community. Absolutely. The Group Academy is specifically designed with the beginner in mind. Week 1 starts from scratch — grip, stance, posture, and alignment and builds progressively from there. Many of our best Academy stories come from complete beginners.

We teach golfers of all ages. Our Junior Academy is specifically designed for students ages 8–17. Adult programs are open to all ages, and there is no upper age limit — we work with golfers in their 70s and beyond.
