With 18 years of experience as a PGA Professional, Josh’s career has taken him across the golf industry—from working with the Golf Channel to serving as a professional at four premier country clubs. Along the way, he has had the privilege of teaching golfers of all skill levels, from enthusiastic weekend players looking to break 90, to elite tour professionals competing on the world stage. His journey also includes owning and operating a successful golf academy for 10 years, spanning across both Florida and Illinois, which allowed him to hone a teaching philosophy rooted in measurable improvement and lasting results.
Josh was also a special education teacher for over 20 years which has shaped his thinking on training and education.
At Forged Golf Club, his goal is to bring that same elite-level instruction and passion to our community. To ensure you get the absolute most out of your game, he heavily incorporates TrackMan technology into his lessons. This industry-leading technology provides us with precise, real-time data on key metrics like club path, face angle, launch angle, and spin rate. By mapping out exactly what your ball and club are doing, we can analyze your swing with tour-level accuracy, cutting out the guesswork and fast-tracking your development.

Yes. Forged Golf Club does not provide clubs. If you are a beginner, we recommend taking a lesson before investing in equipment so your instructor can help guide your purchase.
Absolutely. The Group Academy is specifically designed with the beginner in mind. Week 1 starts from scratch — grip, stance, posture, and alignment and builds progressively from there. Many of our best Academy stories come from complete beginners.
In a Trackman-powered lesson, every swing generates a complete data profile — ball speed, club path, face angle, launch angle, spin rate, and more. This eliminates guesswork. Instead of your instructor saying 'it looks like your path is a little outside-in,' they can show you exactly what the path was on every swing, and track whether the adjustment you made actually changed the number. It makes feedback objective, repeatable, and faster.
PuttView is an augmented reality system that projects the ideal putting line, break, and speed guidance directly onto the green surface using a precision overhead projector. You see exactly where the ball needs to start and how much it will curve before you make the stroke. Over time, your brain begins to internalize those reads — and you stop missing putts because you misread the green.

We teach golfers of all ages. Our Junior Academy is specifically designed for students ages 8–17. Adult programs are open to all ages, and there is no upper age limit — we work with golfers in their 70s and beyond.
Yes. Because all instruction takes place in our indoor simulator facility, lessons are available every month of the year regardless of weather. No more cancellations for rain, cold, or dark evenings.
